(RSD® — 01)The licensing engine

License everything

Your archive is an asset. One property has many buyers, and each is a licence you can sell. Resid finds them, prices each one on real licensing data, writes the agreement and collects.

OUTPUT:
Built by a working photographer.
(RSD® — 00)Sixty seconds, start to paid

One property. Every company attached to it. Priced, licensed, paid.

(RSD® — 02)Why Resid exists

You know the work is worth more than one fee

Everyone who designed, built, and sold a property has a reason to license your photos and film of it. But collecting on that means hunting down the right contacts, writing email after email by hand, and guessing what to charge every time. So most of it never happens.

×Tracking down who to even contact
×Writing the same outreach email over and over
×Guessing at a price, then talking yourself down
×Never finding the hours to actually do it

Resid. does all of it, from one shoot.

(RSD® — 03)The licensing calculator

Never guess a price again

Pick the media, who you are licensing to, and the property tier. Resid recommends a fee built from real licensing data across the industry's top photographers and agencies, for stills and film alike, so every number is defensible and you never leave money on the table. It works in any market, at any price point, not just luxury.

(RSD® — 04)How it works

How a shoot becomes recurring revenue

001.
Add a property you have shot
Resid researches the project to find everyone connected to it, the architect, builder, developer and designer, plus the product and material brands installed in the home, then finds how to reach each of them. On Pro, upload a photo from your archive and Resid finds the appliance and fixture brands right in the image, kitchens and baths especially. The whole buyer list, with contacts, laid out for you, so you never leave the app to hunt down an email.
002.
Price each license with the calculator
For every buyer, the calculator recommends a fee from real licensing data across top photographers and agencies, tuned to the property and how they'll use it. No more guessing, and no more underpricing.
003.
Send outreach in your voice
Resid drafts two versions of a warm, role-aware licensing email in your voice, so a builder hears "the home you built" and an architect "the home you designed." You pick the one you like, add your own signature, and send it from your own inbox, so every reply comes straight back to you. Busy people miss emails, so if you want it, Resid sends a polite nudge on day four and again on day ten, in the same thread, and stops the moment they answer, pay, or you mark them handled.
004.
They pick, pay, and get delivery
Each buyer opens a private, branded Resid gallery and selects what they want. Film plays right there, behind the same email gate as the photographs, so nobody leaves for a third-party link, and they can pick the exact cuts they need, the master, the thirty, the vertical, and leave a note on the exact second. The full-resolution files and films release the moment they pay. A license agreement is generated naming the exact images or cuts it covers, carrying its own reference number so either side can quote it later, and recording that the buyer accepted the terms by paying. Every dollar lands in a ledger you can hand your accountant.
005.
The term ends, and it renews
Every licence has an end date, and Resid watches it so you do not have to. Before the term runs out the buyer gets a renewal offer with the same scope and a fresh agreement, priced from the original. The second year of a licence is the part most photographers never collect, because it depends on remembering. This is the step that makes one shoot recurring rather than one-off.
Finding the buyers
Every room is full of buyers

Knowing the company is the easy part. Finding the one person there who handles licensing is the part nobody can do on their own, and it is the same job whether Resid researched the company or you named the brand yourself.

That is one property. Your archive is full of them.
Start with the property. Resid finds the companies who worked on it, then an email for each. Where a company publishes none, you get their contact page.

Brand contacts are shared. Once any photographer finds one, it is instant and free for everyone after.
You already know what is in the room. Type the brands and Resid finds the licensing contact at each company. On Pro, Resid reads them straight off the photo.
(RSD® — 05)Pre-shoot syndication

Sell the shoot before you shoot it

Best on new-construction projects, where a developer, builder, architect, and interior designer all had a hand in the property and all want images of it. Invite them to license the shoot before it happens. They split one cost, so each license runs a fraction of buying in alone, and you walk in with the shoot already sold. One property becomes multiple licenses, not one.

The shoot is paid for before you press the shutter
Splitting one shoot makes each license cheaper, so more vendors say yes
Works for photo and film, and carries your studio branding on the Pro plan

(RSD® — 06)Client galleries

One gallery, every selection

Host the shoot on Resid and send one link, photographs and film together. Clients select what they want and it comes straight back to you, ready to price and license. Brand each gallery's cover with the buyer's own logo, so the pitch looks like it was made just for them.

Downloads stay off until you license, and on Pro the gallery carries your brand

It runs when you don’t

You are out shooting, editing, or driving to the next property. Most of what Resid does happens on the days you never open it.

Day 4, then day 10
A quiet nudge goes out on the same thread, and stops the moment they answer, pay, or you mark them handled.
The second they pay
Their files release, the licence agreement writes itself with its own reference number, and the money is on its way to your account.
Before the term ends
The renewal offer goes out with the same scope and a fresh agreement, so the second year does not depend on you remembering.
Once, for everyone
A brand’s licensing contact found by any photographer is instant and free for the next one who needs it.
(RSD® — 08)The founder story

I added $50K to $100K a year licensing my own work. By hand, for years. Then I built Resid.

I am an architectural and luxury real estate photographer based in Palm Beach. I have photographed over $8 billion in real estate for some of the top builders, architects, and agents in the country.

Somewhere along the way I realized the shoots I had already delivered were worth far more than the one fee I charged for them. The same images the developer paid for, the architect wanted, and so did the builder. So I started licensing my archive by hand. It worked, and it added real money every year, but it took hours of tracking down who to contact, guessing what to charge, and chasing every reply.

I kept wishing something would just do it for me. Nothing did, so I built it. Resid is the system I use on my own work every week, and now it is yours.
